Emirates is offering ‘Save on Visa offer to Dubai’ to Indian passengers traveling to Dubai and beyond up to March 31, 2010. Passengers traveling on Emirates to Dubai – as a destination or a stopover – can avail a Dubai Visa with a discount of Rs 630 offered by the Dubai Visa Processing Center (DVPC). To avail of the offer, passengers have to book Emirates flights tickets and submit the Dubai Visa applications for processing at the DVPC. The only distinction under this offer is that a discount of Rs 630 is available on both the 30 day and 96-hour Visa. Therefore, a passenger will now have to only pay Rs 3,170 for 30 day Visa whereas for a 96-hour Visa the fees will be Rs 2,520. The grant or denial of the Visa is the final decision of the Government of Dubai.

Additionally the airline is offering a combined fares package which includes return airfare, Visa cost and taxes. Starting with the 30 day Visa offer the Economy Class is priced starting at Rs 19,172, followed with the Business Class which is Rs 48,597 and First Class for Rs 77,065 respectively.

Orhan Abbas, Vice President – India and Nepal, Emirates Airline said, “Emirates has always been designing innovative travel facilities to encourage our customers to explore the world. The discounted Visa offer, approved by the Dubai Visa Processing Center and the Dubai Government adds greater value to our customers’ travel plans. It is a good opportunity for passengers planning their family holidays. This limited-period offer provides all Indian travelers to experience Dubai, which is known to be a popular global tourist destination. We anticipate that the discounted Visa fee offer will attract many Indian travelers to Dubai.”

Whereas, passengers traveling to United States of America, Canada and South American destinations can carry two units of baggage of 23 kg each in the Economy Class. This new allowance will give Emirates passengers the flexibility to carry significantly more baggage. Passengers who book Business and First Class return ticket will receive a 50 per cent discount on the airfare in the same class for a companion, the offer is valid till April 15, 2010.
