  7. I´ve developed an allergy to ginger and haven´t yet found anything that can replace it. I usually leave it out, but it´s just not the same. Any suggestions for things to swap it out with?

  15. I adore bombay potatoes and used to make a batch to make three breakfasts. Yes, breakfasts lol. I like flavourful hot carbs in the morning, gives me the energy I need for the day. I really like the way you two made yours, I'm going to give it a go. Thankyou ?

  19. I definitely will be having this recipe. I am not scared of spices. Spices are among my favourite plant foods. It is what makes my recipes tasty and full of flavour.

  20. INGREDIENTS
    1 Tbsp cumin seeds
    1 Tbsp fennel seeds
    3 cloves
    10 back peppercorns
    5 cardamom pods
    Big load of coriander/cilantro
    1 Tbsp turmeric powder
    1.5 Tbsp oil
    1 kg cooked potatoes
    0.5 kg sweet potatoes
    1 red onion
    Thumb-size piece of ginger
    2 red Chile
    3 fresh tomatoes (or tin of chopped tomatoes)
    Handful of fresh spinach
    1 lime (juice of half x2)
    Generous pinch of salt
    Fresh coriander/cilantro

  22. Thx, looks great guys. Helps to have easy go to meals. We have friends from Mumbai, India so we’ll ask their mom (and GM) for a goody bag of home ground/mixed spices for this! Bonus if you put in fridge overnight it turns into resistant starch which is good for microbiome/reducing insulin spikes????
